You can train these units after you have annexed one of the following Empires: Egypt - Morroco - Ottomans - Tripolitania - Tunisia
Arabian Militia
Adept at melée combat, though incapable of ranged attacks.
Recruited from amongst local villagers, their combat
abilities are similar to other Militia, but they have
adapted their dress to withstand the harsh desert
conditions.
Arabian Line Infantry
Adept at both melée and ranged attacks.
Recruited from amongst local villagers, their combat
abilities are similar to other Line Infantry, but they have
adapted their dress specifically to withstand the harsh
desert conditions.
Arabian Light Infantry
Adept at ranged attacks, but poor in melée combat.
The Arabian Light Infantry comprises some of the finest
marksmen in the army. They are a lethal unit, trained in
harassing and ranged attacks. Their main handicap is their
vulnerability in hand-to-hand combat.
Camel Marksmen
Similar to Dragoons; camels make this unit more resistent to attack, but slower.
Camel Marksmen are a deadly unit, extremely well
adapted to desert combat. Their main strengths are
their great mobility and accurate aim.
Light Cavalry
Very swift unit; employed for melée combat.
The Light Cavalry is an hussar-like unit, adapted
for the special requirements of the Arabian
nations. Their main functions are to harass the
enemy and to charge with their sabres - manoeuvres
which are mostly performed to support their
Infantry.
Lancer
Melée cavalry unit; the most skilled at breaching Square formations.
Lancers are one of the most fearsome shock
troops. Their long lances and powerful
steeds wreak havoc on both Cavalry and
Infantry troops alike.
Camel Lancer
Similar to Lancers; camels make this unit more resistent to attack, but slower.
Camel Lancers are a powerful unit, extremely well
suited to desert combat. Their main strengths are
their great mobility and endurance.
